About the book
“Encounters” is a softcover accordion book that contains photographs of trees and a personal essay. For this edition, Datz Press in South Korea painstakingly connected each sheet of paper to make 176-inch long accordion book, following the artist’s original design. Tucked inside of the back cover is a critical essay by Gabriel Bauret. In the limited edition of 100 copies, each book is signed, numbered, and comes with a 5×7-inch original print on rice paper made by the artist. Text is in English, French, and Korean.
